EventsConcept project
Dinner & party
A chic, retro dinner stationery set: deep burgundy, cream and a checkerboard border.
The context
A seated dinner followed by a party, for a birthday, an engagement or an intimate wedding. The hosts want elegant stationery that isn’t stiff.
The challenge
Set the tone of the evening as soon as the envelope is opened, and make the invitation, menu and RSVP card feel like an obvious set.
The idea
A deep burgundy and a soft cream, a fine, elegant serif and a checkerboard border that adds a playful retro touch. The menu uses the colour as a solid background, for a chic effect on the table.
Colours
- Bordeaux#6B2424
- Crème#F4EEE6
The outcome
A consistent set that is easy to adapt: colours, wording and date can be customised for each event. Concept project: fictional event and date.
